I recently visited Barnsley Hospital to discuss the ‘Tiny Hearts’ appeal.

This appeal was launched in September 2014 and is aiming to raise £1m to support the development of a new Special Care Baby Unit at the hospital. This would support premature babies at the most difficult stage of their lives.

I was pleased to see the work the hospital is doing on this issue, and I’m proud to support this important appeal.
