Meeting with Home Office Minister and Johnny Wood

I was pleased to welcome Johnny and Jill Wood to Parliament.

We met with Home Office Minister Kit Malthouse MP to discuss the tragic death of Johnny’s sister Jackie and the failings that his family have experienced over the last 4 years, including serious issues with the probation system.

Johnny has been a tireless campaigner to change death by dangerous driving laws since Jackie’s untimely death in 2018. We were pleased to see this change in the law take effect last week.
