It was good to meet with the Chair, CEO and Director of Communications at Barnsley Hospital recently.

We discussed the work being done by our fantastic NHS staff here in Barnsley, and the broader challenges the NHS is facing, from the winter crisis, to shortages of beds and access to GP appointments.

The Government must do more to support our health service and address those challenges, and I will continue to press for them to do just that.
