The Government’s handling of A Level results has been nothing short of chaotic. The system used has been incredibly unfair to so many young people here in Barnsley, and I have been in touch with Barnsley College to discuss the impact this has had on their students.

I am supporting Barnsley College’s calls for the Government to:

? award teacher assessed grades
? fix the grading system now so that GCSE students don’t face the same unfairness next week
? streamline the appeals process so it is able to cope with a higher level of appeals
