Veterans’ mental health charity Combat Stress has lost £6m of income over the financial year.
The Government have announced just £5m extra support for the entire sector.
If they value these services, they need to support them properly.
Labour does value these services. That is why I am proud that we announced at Conference that we would invest an extra £35 million, with a special fund to support mental health care for British veterans.
I asked the Government about this support in Parliament.
