Next Wednesday we will be hosting an online public meeting alongside the police and local representatives to discuss antisocial behaviour issues in Grimethorpe.

I know residents across Barnsley have concerns about levels of crime and antisocial behaviour. This is something that I raised in a recent meeting with the new Superintendent and do so regularly with the local Neighbourhood Policing teams when residents get in touch.

I will continue to raise these local concerns with the police directly – and with the Government to reverse their cuts and fight for the resources our police need to make sure local people feel safe in their communities.
