A wonderful evening last night at the Proud of Barnsley awards.

There were so many incredible stories of local people, charities and community groups & the work they do across our town. Well done to all the nominees and winners.

Huge thanks to the Barnsley Chronicle for all their work organising such a great event. And lovely as always to hear the Barnsley Youth Choir perform.

It was my privilege to present a special award to the phenomenal Claire Throssel for her tireless campaigning in the name of her sons, Jack and Paul.
