I was pleased to join MPs from coalfield areas across the UK at the latest meeting of the Coalfield Group of MPs.
One of the things we discussed was the Government’s Budget commitment to return the Investment Reserve Fund to former miners leading to an on average increase to miners’ pensions of £29 per week
