It was a privilege to join residents and Veterans today in Pine Close in Hoyland.
An honour to speak at the memorial service for Sgt McKay, who gave his life for his country, on the 44th anniversary of when he lost his life at the Battle of Mount Longdon.
He was awarded the Victoria Cross for his bravery and today saw the launch of the McKay VC Memorial Homes Trust which will continue to honour his memory.
