It was great to pop into Thornhill House Care Home this morning for the handover of 2700 chocolate bars to Barnsley Hospice where they will be used for fundraising.
Christian and the team set a target of collecting 1000 bars and far surpassed this with support from people in Darfield and surrounding areas.
Last year they raised over £8000, with this year’s total expected to be even higher!
I always enjoy a visit to Thornhill House. A huge well done to all involved!
