🎉 Barnsley’s new OnSide Youth Zone ‘Base71’ is open!

There are so many activities from rock climbing & sport, to cooking, music & beauty therapy.

Thanks to everyone who made this brilliant new youth space possible, OnSide and all the partners, young people but especially to the Labour Council for their investment & for committing to free bus travel & free first year membership for all under 18’s living in Barnsley.

This Labour Government launched our National Youth Strategy last month. We want young people to have something to do, somewhere to go and a trusted adult. Youth Zones like Base 71 will help do just that.
