As the Minister for Sport, I have been delighted to have the opportunity to cheer on Team GB at the Winter Olympics!
It was an honour to watch our brilliant British athletes compete in so many events, including the two-woman Bobsleigh, the four-man Bobsleigh, and the curling.
I was also lucky enough to attend the closing ceremony in Verona, as well as tour the Olympic Village in Cortina.
This year’s Winter Games was Team GB’s most successful ever.
Congratulations to every athlete and the teams behind them whose hard work delivered this record-breaking success. You have inspired us all!
