The Labour Government delivered justice for BCSSS members
Building on the Mineworkers’ Pension Scheme change, today the Chancellor announced that the Investment Reserve will be returned to members of the BCSSS.
This will mean an on average increase of £100 a week for scheme members.
I’ve been proud to lead the campaign in Parliament over the last few years on justice for miners’ pensions.
Following so many meetings and letters with members of the scheme, the trustees, and Ministers, I am delighted that this Labour Government have delivered for the miners who powered our country.
