I am very sad to hear that Barry Murphy has passed away.
Barry was a true Barnsley FC legend, making a record 569 appearances for the Reds. He gave so much to the club and to our town, and it was fitting that Oakwell’s North Stand was named in his honour.
My thoughts are with Barry’s family and friends at this difficult time.
