I am so proud of England’s team and the incredible performances from across the competition over the past 11 days, finishing in a record breaking second place!

It was wonderful to attend the diving finals at the new Sandwell Aquatic Centre, to see Matty Lee, Noah Williams and Amy Elisabeth Rollinson win medals for our country.

Sport is so important to the health and wellbeing and I know that a new generation of sportspeople have been inspired by our excellent team. Well done England!
