I have been contacted by many people regarding the situation with missed bin collections in Barnsley. I fully appreciate the frustration that this is causing and I have been in contact with Barnsley Council to raise your concerns with them directly.
I have been assured that the council are prioritising emptying grey bins and will continue to do so until they have all been emptied. This might mean that they are not collected on your normal rubbish collection day and their advice is to leave your grey bin out until it is collected.
