Thank you to the organisers of the Remembrance Service at Shaw Lane Sports Club this morning, attended by the Royal British Legion, veterans and local school pupils.
It was an honour to be invited to speak at the service as we come together this Remembrance.
We will not forget those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country, including those from Barnsley Holgate Grammar school who died in the two World Wars.
The Holgate memorial to them, is now located at the Shaw Lane Sports Club.
