Last month, the Government announced the creation of a ‘Civil Society Covenant’, to help reset the relationship between government and the sector.
Today I had the opportunity to speak to those across civil society and the civil service about how we foster closer collaboration between the two, there are 500,000 civil servants across the UK and millions of people involved in charities and community groups.
I shared some examples from across Barnsley of work and impact on our community.
