I started this week’s VJ Day commemorations at Barnsley Civic to see the work they have been doing as part of the Our Freedom: Then and Now Programme.
It was good to see one of the workshops they are holding over the summer to encourage communities to explore what freedom means to them through different creative activities from sewing to painting and photography.
