People have often been in contact with me about potholes in Barnsley.
If you see a pothole, you should report this to Barnsley Council, and they will do their best to fix the issue.
Barnsley Council has had its budget cut by 40% over the last 10 years.

However, Government have cut funding allocated to local councils for filling in potholes by over £150 million.
A year before that, they cut funding by £400 million.

Even with Barnsley Council’s extra pledge, too much money has been cut centrally.
