As political lead on the Tamworth by-election I am delighted that we won with a historic swing to Labour of 23.9%- the second highest in a by-election since 1945.
It’s clear people are fed up of this Government, and last night voted for a fresh start with Labour’s positive vision to get Britain’s future back.
Huge congratulations to Sarah Edwards, and a massive well done and thank you to all the brilliant Labour staff and volunteers- you made history in Tamworth
