Glad to see that Channel 4 have developed a four-part series on the miners’ strike.
Four decades after the strike, communities, like Barnsley, are still feeling the effects of the complete devastation of their local industry, and former miners are still fighting for fairer treatment on their pensions and their health.
The series includes lots of never seen before footage of the violent events that took place at Orgreave.
I still have constituents who are still waiting for justice for what happened to them that day, they deserve to know the truth.
