In Barnsley East, the charity sector has invested £9 million in the community, with hundreds of people across the area volunteering to give up their time to help others.
Charities in Barnsley do so much to help local people, but as the cost of living rises, they are seeing more people accessing their services than before.
It was good to meet with the Charity Commission in Parliament to discuss the work that local charities do in Barnsley East.
