I know that people are concerned about the recent stories about RAAC concrete in schools.
I have raised this with the Secretary of State for Education in Parliament.
At the moment, there are not any confirmed cases of RAAC in Barnsley’s schools.
The fact remains that our schools would not have been in such a bad state if the Government didn’t cut the last Labour Government’s Primary Capital Funding programme and the Building Schools for the Future scheme.
