Six year old Daniel from Barnsley East suffers from cerebral palsy and mitochondrial disease, leaving him struggling to stand, sit and eat.
Daniel and his family have received excellent care from the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
However, the Hospice was forced to temporarily close last year due to staffing and cost pressures.
The Hospice has reopened now, but staff and families like Daniel’s need certainty from the Government that Hospices can continue to provide this vital care.
I raised this at PMQs last month, and spoke to ITV Calendar this week about the clarity families like Daniel’s need to be sure they can receive the care they need, when they need it.
See me speak to ITV Calendar  here.
