The NHS is in crisis.

Over 20,000 people died in 2022 after spending at least 12 hours waiting in A&E.

People in Barnsley are worried about accessing healthcare, with over 30,000 operations cancelled last year due to staff shortages.

The Labour Party are calling on the Government to invest in the NHS workforce by allocating more money in the Spring Budget, as a Labour Government would do.

We would pay for this by ending non-dom tax status.

Labour are calling on the Government to adopt our plan to double the number of medical training places, deliver 10,000 more nursing and midwifery placement, and train two times the amount of district nurses each year.
