I recently met with the Alzheimers Society to discuss how we can work together to tackle Dementia in the future.
Dementia is a devastating illness that affects a huge number of people here in Barnsley. And it can affect anyone, not just the elderly. In fact, over 40,000 people under 65 in the UK live with Dementia.
It’s so important we do our best to support anyone affected by this illness, and it was great to hear about the fantastic work by the Alzheimers Society doing just that.
